NEW ORLEANS – Little Rock native Johnathan Jones was recognized Monday as he was named Second Team All-America following his top-10 finish in the high jump at the NCAA Championships.
The announcement, which included All-America honors for the entire 2023 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field season, came Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Jones, who graduated from UA Little Rock this past semester with a 4.0 grade point average during the spring semester, becomes the seventh Trojan all-time to receive All-America honors and the first to do so while competing in a field event.
